This is one I did this past Saturday. Its for a friend where I race at www.RCARIndy.com.

This is a Protoform LTC-R touring car body. The rear wing was done with metallic black to match. All faskolor paints and liquid mask to start.

Well here is the completed job on my 1/14th scale Recoil body. I think it turned out well...it you ignore the drop shadows. I have a hiccup with my gun and had to darken and thicken them up to cover the mistake. It was too bad as it was going so good.

Any advice you have is greatly appreciated. Everything in the car is paint, no decals. I used my wifes cricut to make the custom paint masks. The bottom camero is a VTA car I was commisioned to make decals for.

Any tips on doing the stars and stripes theme? I was thinking of starting with the blue and then do the stars and white stripes and finishing with the red. I have read though that I have to do darkest to lightest. Lastly what should I use to make the stars? I was thing of some stickers.

not particularly proud of this, i got a bit carried away with the black shadowing. running out of air and didn't want to refill the compressor at 3am. so it splattered a bit. wasn't as fine as i wanted.

i'm still waiting on my vinyl lettering. it's supposed to be a sort of lewis hamilton Vodafone Mercedes F1 replica so it's got a bunch of lettering on the way.

tamiya red and spax stix mirror chrome and too much createx black.

losi 8ight with Jconcepts 8ight 2.0 highflow body
