yeah, another aspect some people don't realize... on Lexan, you only get one chance. Whereas painting conventional styles, you can always cover up small errors. Just like Eminem says, "You only got one shot..."

New body for my buddy Mike in Seattle. The dark color is actually purple. Hard to capture the true colors with my camera

Default Masking and cutting stink...

...but I'm starting to "get" this whole airbrush thing.

There are things that I like about this job and things I don't. Such as, the orange corn cobs won't be done again. My outline cuts are nothing close to consistent and I learned that 2 coats of mask are NOT always enough...

and I"ll cut more stencils, so that I can make quicker work of the yellow ones.

I will not put a super thick coat of base for a marbling effect and I think I nee to use a different dabbing material. This was a cellophanny envelope. The dabs were too big.

But I really like the colors. I just need to work on masking and cutting.

Thanks for all the compliments! I told him if he ever sales the car i want that body back. If you look at the front of the car I also put a "M" incorporated in the design for his initial. Lately on my paint jobs i like to put little hidden things in them. He was lucky he didnt get a penis. haha
