it's pretty easy, just different shades of the same color.

^^^^ right on the money, 5 different reds used and mix a couple together here and there, watching the rc tech mortals has been every bit of my air brush schooling lol

Just did a layered drips set, design and colors picked by the racers young daughter, she even sent me a sketch to go by, SWEET result I think(I always dig the drips), even her colors work well together imo!

Jim,

LOL! I did those colors (sort of) with drips on one of my very first jobs...without the green in front. Nowhere are smooth as your drips, which always rule.

Ah, thats where I was messing up. I was trying to do them behind Candy colors like you would do on a "normal" paint job.
