Yeah Jeremy, you can fade it in as a shadow, or as a color change under the scallops as is often done with orange and yellow...Just faded gradually and turning into yellow, the fading back into green again at the back of the body. This will give you the yellow middle color, without having too much of it.
I did it on the last B4.1 body I posted earlier....again for reference.
Really just preference, no right or wrong way to do it.

This is my first attempt of airbrushing. Not too difficult, and if you look close the lines are a bit scratchy, but overall i like the outcome.
