airbrush city or Iwata
Hey all, how it going? my name is Jason. I am looking to upgrade my Paasche Vl to a gravity fed brush. I have tried to search on the this forum for this semi-new company called airbrush city, they have a brush called capital 2006 GF, it is an gravity fed brush that is similar to Iwata (or so they claim). I will mainly be using Faskolor and createx water-based paints for my nitro touring bodies. I cannot decide between the capital 2006 GF or the Iwata hp-cs. I would like a brush that I will be able to accomplish fine shadowing and broad coverage areas. It seems that the 2006Gf some good features and a decent price, but there is always that saying that I am sure that many of you have heard it int he back of your heads, "you get what you pay for"
so I do not know..
any help would be greatly appreciated.
here is a link the 2006GF:

thanks all Jason.

You can't go wrong with the Iwata. Get the Eclipse HP-CS and use your Paasche for the large coverage areas. The VL actually isn't all that bad of a brush, you just have to thin your paints a bit more and it requires more maintenance.

I have both the Paasche and the Iwata your looking into. Just go for the Iwata, you won't be disappointed.
