Questions about making decals
Hello. Im interested in making high quality decals like you would see from most popular decal vendors. What type of setup would I need to do something like this and which program do most guys use? Any and all information is welcome.

Look for Printer / Cutters, like the Roland BN20 - you are looking around $3 - $6K. For cheaper, you can use a $400 Cricut and a good inkjet printer, but the results won't be as good as the expensive machines ( although good enough for personal use ).
Not sure what software the pros use, but Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Corel Draw will all generate files for a printer / cutter.
Check out USCutter.com for machine and software ideas. Look at YouTube for Roland BN20 and Cricut print and cut tutorials.

I had decals made to help promote my business back almost 25 years ago - the company that did it used one of Roland’s Vinyl printers from their Professional Digital imaging line at the time.

You can go to any local high quality decal shop and print decals cheap. i had a 1/10 scale decal sheet made to 1/5 scale $33 and it was cheaper than buying 1/5 scale decals $125
