Default Question for painters

Ok i am thinking about painting the outside of a body for the dull look plus i can better detail the body that way. So painting the outside would give me the dull look that i am looking for. But i want to seal the paint with spaz stik matte finish in which i think well help protected the outside paint job. Opinions?

Paint the inside and use Tamiya dull coat on the outside it will give you a flat look.

If you use the Matte finish on the inside first, then paint over that would that not give you the look you are trying for? Painting the outside just won't last long.
Scuffing the inside can take the "gloss" off.

Matte clear the outside. Paint colors on the inside.

Sandblast the outside and paint the inside, if possible.

Duplicolor paint for vinyl and fabric sticks to lexan better than any paint I've ever used. I've used it on multiple shells for hard bashing and I've never had it crack or chip. It's available in matte finishes and you can buy it at any auto parts store. The color variety isn't huge but the basics like black, white, and grays are readily available:
