I tried the plastic spur gear.. for 3 laps lol then it stripped! Of course i was running 6s when this happened But if youre planning on just running 4s you should be fine.. but being that your used to the speed of the vorza on 6s.. its likely you wont be using just 4 lol

I myself have steel gears right now.. will see how long it will last..
Its probably best to use an aluminium with the Kyosho plastic gear.. although I don't know of anyone that makes a mod 1 aluminium gear!

You're right it won't look good, but you'll have better air flow though the car. You might see a small gain in speed, but only a few tenths of a second(Not much). And it'll only matter in the straights.

You may also lose rear down force, since rear wing won't be as secure.
Cutting back end off usually benefits nitro car, since the increased airflow helps keep motor cooler

You're right, the wing will flex. But if you leave enough of the corners, the wing should be stable enough. You could also do what we do in Oval car and make a wing mounting system that holds the wing from the rear window.

Hey Guys just picked up a ofna ultra gtp2E, my question is would i be able to run a rx8 with a 2050kv motor in this car??? This is my first venture in 1/8th scale onroad. Any input would be great.
