GT8 Class--buggy-based on road electric!

The torque is very high-spinning all tires at launch is no problem. Gearing is whatever is available in the front and rear diffs. The chassis is 3mm G-10 from Penguin RC. The sponge in two of the tires has already separated. I hope it's fast enough(top speed), I have no way of really knowing. I'm waiting for the LHS to get the springs I want for the shocks-Kyosho IGW004-8022. The LHS has to wait until they have $100(cost) of things they need so they can order-what a PITA. All up weight is 7lbs 2 oz. Don

I was all fired up to do some road testing after work, and then the brand new SR300 RX I bought turned out to be a dud right out of the box Called Horizon and they are sending one out first thing tomorrow, no questions asked, so I can't complain too much.
Here are some pics, RTR minus the RX.

Love that Beemer lid. What size is it? What is it meant for?
Thanks

Actually, the BMW M3 body is from Kyosho, one of the pre-finished bodies for the IGT1, standard 325mm wheelbase. They are now discontinued, that's why you don't see them much. Happened to find this one on Ebay still new-in-package.

Same body as the thunder tiger uses now.
