Default I really suggest!!

Serpent 835!!

I like the 2nd generation 2 speed and the clutch II. It was so easy to set up and better revolution that the old clutch. I sold my impact wc o2 and saving for xmass a 835.

I used to run a Rb x. 15 turbo. It was a good motor. Now, I want a M.S. evo5 .15. The pistons looks good and I think they did a good job engineering a machined modified motor. I saw the car ran and also felt it. It does have a difference on accelration. Driving abilities I think its just the same with the impact.

Default Nitrohouse

FYI, Nitrohouse does carry some Fast tires for the K2-X Avance, not cheap, but they've got a few sets. Also they've got a few 1/10 235 arbors left, but not many, if anyone's interested. My order came the very next day (granted I live in Ca.) via UPS- impressive. Can't wait to try it out... now if it would stop raining!

My latest STS .12 motor was just fine... I may end up trying the STS .15 also, at that price how can you go wrong, even if you do need to replace the front bearing!

But...

There might be some clearence issues with the lola and 962, as neither fully fit the 835. The throttle servo arm rubs the body side and the front of the body only just clears the shocks after you trim the tower.
Mugen still has a few of their Lola's available to, our local hobby shop managed to order them for us.

I had some small problems with the latest Racer's Choice Lola and the the K2-X's throttle linkage, but after tinkering with it all I got it to fit perfectly. This body is very low slung through the cockpit area- I actually had to remove a little material for the header to clear. Looks a bit weird with a tall driver's compartment, but can't wait to try it out with the new car.

Nice car Sparksy, i am thinking about a 1/8 scale but cant decide if I want a serpent, or a mugen. Do you have any pro's or con's? How do you like the rb?

It's amazing how those little bastards keep multiplying in households. BTW If you let the Snakey in the door, they'll get jealous! I've got one too and they are forcing me to part with it!

sparksy: I bet you're probably just a FAST bastard now, Serpent or not, eh?! Is there a lot of racing for 235's where you are? It's a little slow here in Calif., but a group of us are trying to keep it going.
