This thing really 1/18 scale? Dimensions make it seem like it is a bigger scale. No matter that car looks like it will be a blast to drive! My 2WD mini Tamiya GB-01 on pavement or the dirt with it's 7 inch wheelbase is big enough to be very driveable and has the feel of a larger scale R/C, but is still relatively compact, so you can do a lot of running in a smaller space. Driving it around on pavement I couldn't help but think I would rather have a a stock car shell on it than a buggy. Which made me think about touring cars, but that scene is all about 4WD. Awesome to see this rear wheel drive come available, though I don't really see it gaining much popularity in the racing scene here where I live…but who knows, maybe others locally will be into it as well. I would enjoy running that thing on a paved oval, dirt oval, or on-road course.

Yeah there was a some info about the size on dirtoval.com. This MLM has been lengthened and maybe widened so it's almost a 1/12 pan car size. I've never seen a pan car in person before so IDK. On losi's site there is a pic of the slider and MLM beside one another and theres quite a bit of difference.

LOL. I keep wanting to call this car an M&M because of how MLM sounds when you say it real fast.

Are you going to use the RTR body or get one of the clear shells?

I will use the RTR body for now and pick up a clear shell later. My slider is using the RTR body, but I cleaned off all the Losi decals and redecaled it my own. I'll probably do that with the Late model too. I just can't wait to get this car. Losi has gotten on to something here. I'm waiting to see if this catches on with the other Manurfacturers.

Any guesses on how long it will be before we see EDM bodies for this thing? I like it personally and would love to pick up one myself!
