Yup Losi is just sooo stupid for giving us a product that we actually want. How dare they listen and cater to what people want...they keep that up they may actually make a profit!!
My LHS has 20 of them ordered and all of them are pretty much spoken for. They aren't even out yet and Horizon has them on backorder til Aug-Sept
I know I can't wait to get mine.We are talking about running them as a spec class.Keep cost down

Here is the thing. Me and all of my buddies are into dirt oval, and it isnt cheap! Then the kids want to get into it also! That gets even more exspensive! Then LOSI comes along with a RTR like the Slider, and suddenly we can afford to get our kids into the hobby without the wife loosing her mind! This is the way you keep people in the hobby! If I am out there running a $1000 car and my kid wants one too, that is not in everyones budget! This broadens the specktrum of people, i.e. kids and the people who thought about getting into the hobby but then they saw the prices. here is an option for them. And it is a Pretty cool cars as well with many parts available for it!

These Sliders are a total blast. When we heard about them comming out we built a dirt (clay) oval for them with slight banking(for now hmm Bristol lol). Well it started out just for them but when we were done it ended up having a 140'-150' drive line. lol There is about 12 of us that got them and they ordered more. These Sliders are tougher than they look also. You def have to get the 1400's for them tho. It totally brings the life out of them. Here is a couple pics of the track. Were gonna start running on fri. night under the lights. SWEET!!!

Yes, I think most tracks are keeping this class spec, to get new faces into the hobby. That is what the track I race at is doing.

Thats what were doing also. Were only allowing 1400 batts and shock and turnbuckle upgrades. Thats all it really needs. The 1400's give it plenty of power for now. When we get enough people then we can split off and put brushless in them and have a stock and mod class.

We also allow the ball diff to be intalled. The stock diff gets a bit crunchy after your 1st run.
