Default My FG Competition Evolution *Pics*

This is my amazing 1/5 scale FG Competition Evolution, I just got it a few weeks ago! Here are the pics:

This is a picture of my FG Evo compared to a 1/10 scale touring car.

This is a Mini-Z compared to my 1/5 scale car.

These are the hydraulic disk brakes.

It handles very well, but making the transition from 1/10 4wd to 1/5 2wd cars takes a lot of getting used to. If you're not careful and come into a turn too fast the rear end will come out from under you.

The most amazing thing on the car is probably the braking power, I can be going WOT at 5mph and bring this 25 pound object to a halt in less than half a second without sliding, skidding, or locking up a wheel thanks to the ABS feature on my 3PK radio. Seeing a 1/5 scale car going 50mph is an amazing sight, a lot different than a 1/10 scale car whizzing by at 50mph.

Oh just a side note, on the 3pk you can set up the front brake as a slave to steering as master!

in other words, if the car is straight under full brake then both front and rear will have 100% power, and say if you were making a turn with steering positing as 50% either left or right then your front brake will decrease down to 50%(you can set it up as little or as much as you want). Which will dramatically lower your lap time because you can take the car into turns much faster and under braking!
