Mark what was your L2.5 set up for speedworld.

What Servo should I get, can I get the company and number of the servo.

Trying to make it out to speedworld on sunday to shake down my new L2.5.

My setup at the point when I had to leave - Pink/Green, Hot Bodies Toyota, 30wt all around, no center screw, green side springs, .022 front springs. Had I had them at the time, I probably would’ve gone to White rears.

For servos, a lot of us like the Airtronics 737 (no too fast, not too much torque, very smooth to drive) with a Futaba mini servo (I don't know the part# - TOADYY and/or thirdplace does) being a good second choice.

thirdplace also has a KO servo that he's happy with but in light of KO's outrageous repair rates and the way some of their servos interfere with personal transponders, I can't say I'd recommend anything from KO

Hey Trackdesigner71, I spoke to Clark today at Hobbytown. He told me that he would still very much like to speak with you regarding the event. So, if you are still interested, either give him a call, or send me your contact info, and I'll gladly pass it on to him at the track tomorrow (if it's not raining).

Oh, and by the way, I may be in the market for a used Yokomo YRX2000. If anyone's looking to part with one, let me know.

Thanks,

Ron Meloni

That's the new Asso front end that was unveiled at the Snowbirds this year. It's supposed to elimenate the inconsistent front end problems which have plagued the original.

Default Caster Blocks

Mark,
Does the stock caster blocks on our L2 kits have us a 0 or 10 degrees? Can the new 12L4 caster blocks fit?

The L2 has 0 block and 10 blocks. The block should fit they only change the blocks. I wish the made a shorter arm so you can use small tires. That would help with 1/12th.
