1/10th pan car

That is one of the odder pan cars I've seen. The matte-black type of graphite chassis was most commonly associated with Hyperdrive and/or Composite Craft but both went out of business before anyone would have tried mass-producing a narrow 1/10th pan car for roadcourse. The body post height is consistent with a roadcourse/GTP style body though. I would take a guess and say it might be someone's homebrew attempt to emulate/prototype one of the "1/11th" scale cars that were briefly tried in the Pro10 class in the 90's in a quest for less weight and aero drag. Protoform even made a narrower P35 body for a while.

Looks like a mix of Hyperdrive parts. 510/SSE rear pod and the chassis looks similar to later H10's??
What to do with an Ae10L3O Velodrome car with no Velodrome to race on.

Hi Richard.
Awesome indeed. Is that your car? Are there any pics of the car with and without body?

Former SoCal Pan Car racer Tony Tam, aka Nemo, TQ'd and finished 2nd in the F1 class at the big IIC race in Vegas last week. Mr. Green missed the bump from the B to the A in spec touring by a spot.
Wow Richard...that is insane!
The pics from Richards + car as he had problems with uploading them here.
Nice Richard!

Amazing how fast something so relatively basic can get going these days. 2s and an unsesorsed setup even. Looks like the aero was the hardest part of getting up to that speed as you'd expect.
Mark, It took a few blow-overs before I got it to stick.
If you look really close you will see the sensor wire, and only 2 other wires going to the motor. That is because after the pass on video. I made one more pass trying to go a little faster and melted the solder off the third wire. The ISC world record for electric 1/10 scale 2s is 118.2mph. Done with a dragster. Can't quite seem to break into the 118mph mark with this car.
2w Thanks for posting up the pictures for me.
