Return spring for Novarossi .12

I plan on removing my servo return spring in favor for a engine return spring, what if any are you guys using for the engine? I've found a few, however, they seem geared towards big block engines.

I was trying to use a real spring, not a rubber band, guys..

The best thing is the neck of a party balloon. I've used the Zeppin return springs but found these not really strong enough. The party balloon neck doesn't seem to be greatly affected by fuel etc whereas a rubber band seems to perish quickly and break. I've been using balloon necks for probably 20 years with perfect results.

Most people use hair bands.

Ok, I'll pick some bands up. If I get a run-a-way, I'm sending you guys the bill..haha. I'd much rather have a metal spring on there. Do you guys have any pics of these set-ups?

Metal springs often bind up the carb and can cause a run away. They also eat away at the carb boot. Use bands.

Thanks. I'll go grab some and give it a second thought.

I like 2 rubber bands, when the first one croaks from use then replace both.

with the KO servo I don't see a need for a really stout return spring but something like Xpert might need a more powerful return spring.

I use 1 rubber band AND a throttle return spring on the linkage. Same function, different implementation. Chance of both failing at the same time is close to zero
