Default starter box 1/8 on road

I would like to have your experiences about a starter box for 1/8 on road.
I need one to be able to start the engine also during the break in phase.
So, powerfull and preferably with good autonomy in case of battery using.
What type of battery do you recommand?

Thank you

Hudy star box is amazing. It's geared down with higher voltage setup so spins fast and has torque. If your not using heat on the motor before starting when breaking your motor in, I'd highly recommend doing so. Will make motor turn over easier.

The Star box is powered by 2 2cell lipo's wired in series for 14.8 volts.

The LRP starter box is best one by a long way, can't beat it.

I bought two RB 7000 mah Lipo batteries and i have installed it side by side in the starter box with the EOM Mugen parts. I just drill two holes to fix the battery holder in the lengthwise axis of the box.
Sorry i can't post the pic, i m unauthorizing to post pics for the moment until i reach some post reply.

ive looked at the hudy star box.. great to get confirmation.. as i tried using my assoicated / thunder tiger box that claimed to work for 1/8th on road but the wheel is way to wide.. and i tried playing with shaving the side walls but it isnt worth it.. so my local shop down the road luckily has one hudy so ill see what i can score it for.. as its been sitting there since for ever...

As with others for 1/8 GP I use the Mugen starter box with 18.4v lipo. But due to its soft springs which is great for 1/8 GP it's no good for GT cars as it turns over too easily with little pressure. In addition it is not oriented for GT. For GT I like the Nosram due to its heavy springs on the switch mechanism.

My starter box with two RB 7000 lipo side by side. The white part is a splatter for the adesive cover. I recylce everthing! It maintains the batteries in position.
The two screws on the slatter are screwing to the oem Mugen part. It is only turn to 90° according the orginal position.
I have to fix the wire.

Now, i have to find an adhesive cover for the starter box to be more funny!!!
Do you have any suggestions?
