16% nitro 9% oil fuel

16% nitro 9% oil fuel
I have a general question. Would the benifits of adding a little castor to 16-9 fuel (I want 16% 10.5% oil) circumvent the performance of the fuel since the total nitro content will be below 16%?
In a nut shell... will the drop in total nitro content out weight the benefits of more oil. This pertains to a .12 engine.
I've seen guys add oil to 25% nitro fuel but I don't know that it is as critical as adding oil to 16% fuel.
Pass you soon....

On a liter of fuel you have 160ml nitro. Adding 1.5% of extra oil makes 1 liter 1.015 liter of fuel.
160ml nitro on 1015ml fuel is 15.76% of nitro....pinuts! You must be a very good driver if you do notice the 0.25% less nitro.

I added castor to my 16%. Runs great! Just as fast as guys running 25%.

better use good oil for that. i`ve added 20cc on 4liter and the engine is real greasy and won`t ref as high anymore. But it sure lasts.
i am going back to runnertime. useless having an engine with no speed.
better invest in good fuel than start adding oil.
