Default RB Concepts C5 Circuit Opinions

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this engine, and what your opinion of it was? I'm really new to nitro and I got this engine because it's what my LHS had in the cabinet. I really like it so far.

I raced my car for the first time this last weekend, and I had the engine detuned somewhat. I was running it a little rich (last stages of break in). I had a 7mm restrictor in the carb, and I added some head shims to bring me to .028 clearance.

I didn't feel like anyone was pulling me at all. It had plenty of top end. It maybe could have had a little more down low, but it was nice and easy to drive.

Overall, how do you think this engine compares to others in the same price range. I'm curious about usable power, tunability, reliability, and durability.

Thanks for any help.

Default C5

I have a Rody C5 that I'm very pleased with. It has comparable power to all the .21's out there and is very easy to tune, and I've run two gallons of fuel through it. It has an amazing amount of compression, and it's still hard to turn the motor over when cold. I've owned a number of RB motors and they've always been tops in quality.
