Modyfying Crank

Can somebody explain what are the effects on advancing the opening and delaying closing on crankshaft timing inlet hole?

Basically advancing opening gives you more torque, retarding closing gives you more high end. Have to be carefull on the balance between both. I repeat basically.

.21 vs .27/.28

I am currently running a OS V-spec engine in my Hot Bodies Stadium truck. The engine is tires and I am shopping for a new one.

Since Monster Trucks aren't limited to .21s, is there a dowside to running a Wasp or Sirio 28? I have also been looking at the new Picco / OFNA 27. The cost of these engines is about $190 vs $350 for a strong .21.

Can I still get the same performance with a quality Big Bore as I have from my OS . 21?

Thanks

Not sure. Looks more like a glazed area from excessive piston wear on that side. Or a possible burn mark.

nazgul 03-23-2005 05:23 AM

Your 8hp and 75K engine is outmoded already. I'm designing a pistonless engine controlled by a artificial intelligence injecting system. It should have more than 100k rpm and let your car be destroyed in 3 seconds. Just wait and see!;)

Just kidding:lol:
