Default Can you make a std crank engine a short crank engine?

Hey,

Some cars like the RC10GT need a short shaft engine,

my question is can you cut a standard crankshaft down to fit or are they completely different?

Thanks in advance

i wouldnt advise cutting down you SG shaft to make a short shaft. All you will do is end up with no threads to bolt the end screw into to hold everything on.

if you require a standard shaft engine to fit the car then it would be better to just go and buy the standard shaft and adapter in the first place.
