Does the drilled holes constitute a nother port according to the rules

Also there is a big diffrence in quality to the machining to the casing alone well worth the money if you ask me

They are not transfer ports... Therefore does not violate any rule.

353s has two holes.

People call them "boost ports", but really, they are just there to cool down and lubricate the skirt of the piston...

a little more about the engine i used.

ttl .4 mm head shim
rapicon 25% fuel
original plug
capricorn 2662 set
running temperature 120C to 135C

with this combination, engine running smooth with both good low and top end.
the most important to me, good fuel consumption.

Default Gasket interchangeability?

As you already know, the new 2011 Novarossi Flash PT (S) range of engines requires a different exhaust gasket when comparing with older 2010 Novarossi Flash engine range.

Can these be interchanged? Has anyone tried to use the older variant exhaust gasket on the 2011 Novarossi Flash PT (S) range of engines?

Happy Birthday America!!

Just wanted to know if anyone else has come across this recently. 2nd raceday on my novarossi .12 flash tuned motor and the rear bearing is completely shot luckily I didn't do any damage to the motor. Motor never got over 220 ran just fine the entire race just noticed after breaking the car down. I have heard of this happening recently but never came across it personally. Brad
