Default TG RB Modified by M.Russell

So i have my TG RB on the way im really looking forward to this engine as i know how good Matt russell's engines are and these TG RB's and modified by the man him self.

I get mine Friday

Just wanted to know if anyone has got one of these engines and ran them or are looking to purchase one in the future????

TG Modified 12 RB Engine pipe combo

The new RB TG Modified .12 motor is the product of much research and testing between JPM Racing of Australia, Matt Russell and RB in France. This is evident with the unique Australian image etched on the cooling head. Heavily modified by renowned race engine builder Matt Russell, the testing of this motor was performed by World’s finalist Phil Woodbury. The end results is a reliable motor with awesome power and excellent fuel economy. Phil Woodbury will also be racing this motor in the 2011 season. Comes with the latest EFRA 2659 pipe & manifold and ceramic main bearing

Should be and absolute weapon

If anyone wants to check them out contact

Send them an email they are great guys!!

Thumbs up Got TG RB and now Its run in!!!!!

So guys i Got my TG RB Last friday and Started to run the engine in at my local track Moorebankraceway on Saturday the engine is very tight and i mean very tight i ran 2litres through the engine on saturday and i still couldn't turn the fly wheel over by hand i had the day off work today and ran another 2litres through the engine and it is now free enough to turn over by hand.

Not trying a sales pitch or anything this engine has so much top end power i had to change my gearing so it would rev out at the end of the straight it is fast but enough of that tonight ill be changing the Conrod and after all the PM's ill be posting internal photos tonight so stay tuned and you will get a view of the inside of this weapon........... stay tuned

Talking internals

i tried to take pics the best i could but not the best i guess and i couldn't take pics of the mods to the crank casing but what i have learned by pulling this engine apart is that this is not a RB that has been modified this engine is so unique that every part out of this engine is out of different RB's.
It looks like a T11 but inside there is like 3 to 4 different RB's.
eg- Bi turbo crank, Higher exhaust port, hand machined crank NO silicone etc.

Here are the internal pics sorry about the pics not being the best.

How does this engine compare to the '11 or '10 RB M3 from Murnan??
Same, better, or just different power in different areas?
Would like to know, I plan on getting the '11 M3 later on, unless this would be better.
