I don't know if the Nova rod can be made to fit. I will have rods and parts in stock late next week, around the 6th.

Hello again .
Some month ago I told about my BP´s . We found the issues on the engines . It was not a matter of engine but of the plug . The thread of the plug was to small in diameter .Dont know how to explain . We tried with some GRP plugs and now the engines works very well . But know someone about this problem with the plugs ? I got 5 boxes of BP Plugs . And in 3 boxes the plugs seems to get an issue on the thread . The other 2 boxes the plugs seems to work perfect . The 3 Boxes with the bad plugs are in grade 6 . The 2 Boxes with the good plugs are grade 7 I dont want to say that its normal ...but shit happens . It was very difficult to discover why the plug leaks and the head gets wet . Only now I have read the comment of Piston . I´am from austria . How It seems you are involved in the BP Factory . Nice . I dont wanted to say that BP is a bad engine . But when I get 3 new engines and because of bad plugs the engine didn´t work well , you maybe can understand that someone gets angry . Because 1000 euro for bad working engines are a lot of money . But now the issues are dissapeared and I hope the engines will run well for a long time . I was only dissapointed because I prefer the BP engines and not the Vega . The BP´s looks awsome and are mancraffted in very high quality . The Vega is a very strong engine and the engine when I compared it with the BP´s was faster .....But its no wonder when the plugs didn´t fit perfectly. Now I Hope . Would be pleased when the engines work well . We´ll see . |

I will check the plugs I have in stock, but I have not noticed a fit issue with the ones I have received this past few months.
|
But you have to know that I have this plugs from march or april .
It can be that there was only a few plugs with issues . I remember that years ago I got a similar problem with Nova plugs . I think I was only unlucky . Hope the engines will run well now . When did you change conrod ? After how many hours or liters ?? I dont know BP´s for so long and my 3 engines are pretty new . A friend of me from swizerland told me that I have to change the conrod very soon . He ment after 2-3 liters max . Further he told me that he changed the conrod and wristpin with the R7 of Nova and that this combination worked better . Because after run in the conrod gets broken after 1 liter . Can you give me some information about how long the conrod can be installed? |
Lost compression
My 935 found out lost compression today, it only ran 5L fuels, RIP.

It's easy to pass the TDC, no idle and no power on mid to high rpm
I will see how long my 3 engines will lasts . But the next engines will be Novarossis or Picco ( maybe Vox ) again . There´s no better engines that this one . Yesterday I run one of my BP´s and I have to say that the engine worked very well . But on the straight a xxl9 Max Power was much more faster . About 3/10 per round faster . The driving level was the same . The impressive was on the straight . Very Fast. The BP got good bottom power . But less on the straight. We´ll see . Beauty is not all . BP is beautyful ....but is it fast ? |
Some change the rod after break in, some after the first gallon or so of fuel.
What header and pipe are you using? Try the long BP conical header with Nova 2015 pipe. |
