I will get spec's to the .12TR(P)-R-Spec .
The new engine was ran at the Texas Biggie this weekend, Their was great resluts our team driver Ron Atomic used the R-Spec and Qualifed 2nd in the A main but got into a crash
and finished 12. He had one of the fastest engines eveyone was shocked that it was a OS engine. and Rick Vessel mad the C main.
The drivers were very happy with the performance and the speed rick said he could have made it to the B but driver error got the best of him. This engine will be ran at the Nitro TC Nationals in Sept. and you will be shocked to see who will be running OS.:sneaky:

Doesnt the Texas biggie have a huge track..... Still in a bus parking lot.

gijoe64 06-02-2004 04:54 PM

They ran 1/8 scale cars on the track this weekend, the back straight was 200FT.

The Texas biggie was run at our new permanent track, it is a ribbon layout with pavestones in the infield areas. The previous four years it was run at Texas Motor Speedway in the parking lot.

I talked with Ron about his OS motors and saw them run first hand. It was fast and looks like a very nicely made motor, it has a larger cooling head than the older TR-P.

I will be giving the new OS a try as soon as it is released in my NTC3.

i want to know that too:confused:

gijoe64 06-03-2004 04:30 AM

The engines had no modifcation.;)

gijoe64 06-03-2004 04:34 AM

The R-Spec Has more than enough Horse to compete with any engine, on smaller tracks maybe to much.:D

jrabbito 06-03-2004 06:31 AM

so are you saying that it even has enough to compete with the new Novarossi L3 engines? They are rated over 1.5hp....hmmm. I can't wait to see the specs....

gijoe64 06-03-2004 07:52 AM

Spec: 4,000-36,000 RPM 1.5ps/31,000rpm
:tire:

jrabbito 06-03-2004 07:54 AM

wow 1.5......hmmm now this gets interesting.....

If it retains the renowned ease of O.S. tuning and price points then it is sure to make serious waves.
