Default I need your help...

I'm looking at the O.S. line of .12 engines, and they have 2 different kinds of ends on the crankshaft.

One has a very short threaded section. The other one has a short threaded section followed by a smooth section. The smooth section is at the end of the shaft.

Which one do I want... threads only, or half-threaded and half smooth?

Which is the one I want to use for a AE NTC3?

Thanks for all your help.

There are actually 3 types OS Engines makes.

1. Short Shaft (S) (For AE Vehicles: RC10GT, etc)
2. Standard Threaded Crank (Fits most type of cars)
3. Pilot/SG Shaft (P) (Mostly used on High End Touring Cars)

Any of these will fit your NTC3. The NTC3 I believe comes with 2 different flywheel nuts. One for SG/Pilot shafts and one for threaded shafts.
