If you run an LD3 you don't have many choices anyways:sneaky:

Oh, true... :p

Didn't realise his signature, I'd recommend the RD-Logics Turbo pipe for this car!
This was also used by one of our factorydrivers on the NTC3 which obviously uses the same exhaust layout.

Is it just me or is that picture been switched to mirror image or something.

Or did someone forget what way the engine goes into the car when they were making the carb:p

burito 03-23-2004 05:06 AM

@modellor: well, the carb is just turned by 180°. That's all and certainly this would be wrong for almost all cars. The picture was made for part of the packaging and we had a reason to show the carb in this direction!
I'll look for a proper picture of the entire engine anyway... Just didn't found one on my computer.

Cool. The engine looks nice. I like the idea of the carb that direction. Have been playing and thinking about the possibilities of a car having a reversed layout and what advantages/disadvantages it would result in.

Look forward to seeing more pictures.

Are you Reto König?:sneaky:
It's nice to meet you here.:)

@dino.tw: yes, that's me in person...
I've seen you here quite a few times, but I haven't been very active in this forum yet. Have just been a spy... ;)

You're one of the very few people capable of writing my name correct, that funky "ö" seems missing on most keyboards...

dino.tw 03-23-2004 07:04 AM

 Good luck on engine marketing,my friend.:)

By the way,LRP should modify their name to...LRP-not only electronic :D just kidding.

These are some good motors, myself and my team mate just got them for our NTC3's and man do they haul, wicked low down snap (in fact tooooo much) and very good mid-range and top end.

It is also easier to start than my old motor by a long shot and idles very well.

Overall I am very impressed with the motor, tore it down before running it and the internals look good, and fit and finish is very good :D :D plus it's blue

@fathead: glad to hear you like our engines, thanks for the positive comments. You've the same experience as we had... :)

I'm here to help if you've any questions.
