If you think the pricing is to good to be true for a competitive race motor let us know we'll up it a hundred bucks so everyone feels better LOL.

Try to do the rework on the new steering system that motorman recomended for the G4. I was running the car last weekend and I didn't have any problems.

Yep, I will. I've been talking with Dennis about it for a couple of weeks now. I just got my car from Rd this weekend. I think I was pitting next to you on Saturday at Rev. How do you like the G4 at Rev. What tires did you use at rev.

tallyrc 11-01-2004 12:05 PM

does this mean we are getting close on the long rod engine?

Yup!! that was me.
I like the car, I was running everything stock, except for the springs, I went to a little harder ones. I was running the tires that came with the kit (42 all around). :D

Hey Dennis i should have my short rod motor tomorrow,
Any clues on how it should run compared to a stock nsr12 .
speed and mileage???
Thanks

also 30% in florida add a head shim or run it first and check plug

HarKonnenD 11-03-2004 06:58 PM

Man, no where around me deals RD products.

Motorman 11-03-2004 08:38 PM

bc
florida tends to have detonation issues i would add .004 thousanths additional shim at sea level. You should have performance similar to the ns

vegas is another place I would use it.

otherwise it should be fine out of the box on 30%

break in as normal. It will begin to make good power in the 250/260 range after you get it settled in.

peakman 11-03-2004 08:46 PM

Dennis....check your PM

InitialD 11-03-2004 09:14 PM

Dennis, are the piston sleeves, conrods and crankshafts interchangeable with Nova engines? Or are they similar to STS engines where the crankshaft needs a different diameter bearing and that the piston sleeve is differently orientated? Thanks.

JustRace 11-04-2004 03:57 AM

Dennis....I guess Florida might be a good place to use the long header verses the short one?
