The silver one that is in the engine is 0.3 so you don't need any more shims.

Your low end needle is too lean. fatten it up. This should drop your idle considerably. I always like using a cold plug. with 12 engines

Hi Guys,

Just curious, if any one has a general rule of thumb of when to change/Replace all of the engines and carbys O-Rings? Just curious, cause i am about to replace the O-rings in my Cordoba that has been running since last april 2008. Motor still fines, still on the Original P/L. so any info would be appriciated.

Thanks Guys

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let the Novarossi lovers know that I used the new 353 purple head this week at the winternats and was able to take the victory. I felt the motor gave the same low and mid range with just a little more top speed. I also felt that I got a little more run time. Normally at the Fort Myers track we are pressed to make run time. I was able to make 1.5 more laps than ever before. That is a big deal at this track.

Hey Guys i just got a quick question about some of the Novarossi plugs.

when i bought my engine off the local rep i bought 2 plugs, assuming they where for an on-road engine.

they are C6TGC Ultra Turbo, the nova website says they are for Off-road, i have a 3sct Tuned and was wondering if they will damage the engine, either they ruin the thread in the button or the piston will hit it because it is to long etc.

i havent run one yet in the engine only just finished the run in with the plug that came with which is a C#TGF (not sure what number).

Thanks
Mitchell

DJ,
Congratulations on your victory in the 1/10th Sedans. One big step towards the worlds in 2010. Look forward to watching you at Gulf Coast Raceway soon. The track remodeling is underway and improvements are planned.
