Does anybody here is running a Nova S721P? It see to be a very fast engine, but I want to know the performance against others engines, like Sirio, Ninja.
I must choose betwen him or Mega ZX21 DSII, two engines with a similar price. Which one is better? And why? Could you comment?

I never run the S721P but if my understanding is correct, they are the entry level of nova base 21 on road motor. The hobby shop did tear apart the motor, it comes with a unbalanced crank shaft and tABC p/s without having the micro cast coating. You will not go wrong with a Nova base motor but I think S721P will not as fast as the Zx21 DSII. in 1/8 scale, I only trust nova base line motor as they are the longest lifespan. Good luck

Thanks speedy100
I'm going to Mega ZX21 DSII. The specifications are better than S721P and cheaper. Do the Mega crankshaft is balanced?
I would like to know someone that is running this Nova to compare

Well I've seen the DSII in action against some 321p's, Ninjas, and 35 plus 21's and it holds it's own. If the 721p is slower than a 321p forget it about it unless it's just for sport. Just my opinion.

The engine is either a NSR12S3 or an RR12L3 but not a NSR12LS3

Either one the 2630 pipe with med conical header

Cheers

You will not be disappointed with Skyline VR12Plus pipe.

Hey Y'all, I just picked up a Nove NS12 S3/A1. Anyone know anything about this thing? Is it better than the Nova/Mugen MT-12 I have now?

Thanks for any info you can give

I would also be interested to know how they compare. Is the "tuned" version worth the extra money?
