i did it yesterday :) i used a material i found here, it is like thin silicone but is used for sealing pipes, it can "survive" in high temperatures and under any fuel contact :)

the engine improved the way it is working, although it doesn't drop the RPM immediately after you return the throtle to idle position, it takes some time less than before. Also the temperature of the engine droped some degrees C.

today (i think..) i will receive the o-rings for the tuning niddles in the engine so i will replace them too.. i have this will seal the engine totaly.

thnx for your help

what kind of exhaust system do you use on a long stroke engine?

i´m going to buy me the new NOVAROSSI PLUS 12-3 and it´s a long stroke engine.

yes I have the same question. I have 52607 pipe set sitting around. Would this be a good match?

Also, can someone plz shed some light on how Plus12-3 compare to OS speed 12 TZ tuned?

the 2052 with the five fin conical manifold is very good combo!

PROVK 06-21-2006 04:43 AM

I just received a Novarossi 2630 pipe and have noticed that the
inlet to the pipe is a smaller diameter than my mugen and max/nova pipe.
2630 fits loosely into my mugen and max/nova header.
Do I need a different header or is it supposed to be loose?

Thanks

For our english speaking friends:

PM is on his way!

I´m just thinking about if Dieter and I have the Mielke 2501, too. I´m not sure which Mielke Pipe is like our Habbecke one.

:D :D :D

air temperature

hey all,

do you run your engines under hight external temperatures? these part of the year here we have nearly 40 degrees C, should i protect the engine and not run it? do you have a threshold in air temperatur over which you don't run your engines?

if not is there any measure you take against the high temp?
