Default Capricorn .21 CL-9TE competition engine

As promised last month, here is the new .21 engine from our company.

Based on Sirio Crankcase, we developed a new engine.
ABC cylinder with 7 ports, 2 By-pass and 2 ECS ports (Exhaust Cooling System).
Timing and port design is our own project as well as the totally review hand tuned crankshaft.

In the future, will be available the AAC version because we prefer to develop
it deeper to bring a outstanding performance on the market.

Actually the CL-9TE ABC version is the fastest motor we tested and the one who is able to make the higher run time with a tank.

George Martinez will be the first overseas driver who will run it and will be ready for the market throught our US importer Murnam Modified Motors.

Attached some shots.

Best Regards
Capricorn RC

Looks like the same carb as the Xenon Alpha. It's a great carb and should be real easy to tune but rods are a bit of an issue with the Xenon's.

I ran the xeno r for a whole 1/8th scale season never changed the rod and it was fine. And that included the capitol classic. ( A rod killer )

Just a quick fyi the clutch shoes are compatible with the Kyosho 1/8th clutch so you would be able to use the Kyosho grey 3d shoe on the Capricorn clutch as well

Just wanted to share some input got to run it this weekend @ the local state race track was awesome some of the best traction seen.
A few car related issues for me so standings can't justify the power this motor lays down.
Ran perfect all day did not want to over do it so really took my time with it so it can really set in.
Im very impressed with the CL-9TE & comparing it with my CL7R abc version it has a bit more bottom & top was able to lay a couple of 12.9 when the fastest was a 12.0
The CL-9TE & Capricorn clutch was a perfect combo ran it with the 2013
Will be running it this weekend @ the Nitrofest

Just wanted to share some results this past weekend
The CL9-TE finally came in was on a Tq pace & it went rich on me.
Qualified 2nd behind a veteran driver who we call mister consistent
My car was relly good once I got a couple of bugs out & got a little over zealous in the Main did not notice my rear left side sway link got disconnected & traction rolled more than enough times for me to pull it off.
Overall the motor is really fast & very pleased with it.
Ran it with Maxy's 16% #7 plug 2013 pipe & capricorn 2008 WC clutch, red shoe. 220 temps all day
