The size of the crank hole and scoop is directly related to crankcase volume , size and number of transfer ports, and it will affect positively or negatively the maximization of gas mass flow and speed, from the case through the ports and into the combustion chamber.

So if badly done there will be losses and no gain. If properly done, even minimal gains will be gained.

That's true. If done improperly, power will be less.

Default M21

Why is everybody so quiet on the M21? I'm nearly done with my bench break-in and I'll put it on the track early next year.

Anybody racing it yet?

All the reports are very positive. The engine is fast. You will have to keep us posted.

I ran 2 different motors the past week, the M21 and a Murnan 35+ and to be honest - there is not much difference between the 2. The M21 is a monster!!

When you say that there's not much difference but then say the M21 is a monster..............uhmmm you are confusing me at least. What makes the M21 a monster? I am assuming the 35+ is a monster too then?

So what you are saying is that the M21 is a match for the modified 35+21. How is the fuel economy of the M21? My Munan 35+21 is a little thirsty. What header and pipe were you using with both engines? Size of track, lap times.

Just wanting to compair to where I will be running this summer.

Track: Quick track with long sweeping corners and one tight section - not to sure about the length.

Running both engines with the Novarossi 2015 pipe with medium conical header.

The fuel consumption on the M21 is better.

The bottom end power of the Murnan 35+ is a bit better but the M21 match the 35+ through mid and top end power - or that is how it feels to me.

Can't tell you about lap times since both days were practice days with no timing.

Thanks! I was thinking about getting one and now it's on the top of the purchase list for the year.

The T11RS has more bottom end power than the T10RC. Both have very good top speed. I would go for the T11RS.

Both the MM35+21, and M21 are great engines, and have lots of bottom end. Most people feel the M21 has more bottom than the 35+21. I like the new Picco 2069 pipe on the M21. It makes lots of power. The Werks 2058, and Novarossi 9886 are some more top pipes to use on the M21.

The RB2668 pipe with short header combo is the best I have tried.
