I have the Flash .12PT. I'm still on my 1st quart so I'm sure it'll get much better after I burn more fuel through it.

I'm starting to have some issues with my murnan 353R engine. I have issue with the lsn i can close it all the way and the engine still runs. It runs ok but the needle is fully closed. I think i might need a new lsn or a new carb. I don't know which one is screwed up. Alsoi think I'm starting to get some serious wear to my sleeve. I pushed the piston all the way up as far as i could by hand with the sleeve and piston removed and measured it and got 3.08mm. I read somewhere anything under 3mm is almost worn out sleeve. Is it possible to re pinch the sleeve? or should i send it in to you for some reworking??

Thanks

What would cost be for you to fix it. Also would it be worth it to send it in or just to buy a new one. Can you even fix it. I can't even find a Piston and sleeve set around. I just want to make sure it will be worth my while to send it in. Should i send in the new rod i have for it with it? Thanks man

I would have to see the engine here to make any real determination. The only cost to you if it were total junk would be shipping costs. I don't charge for inspection on any of my engines. If you do send it in, throw the rod in the box with it.

I want to go ahead and send my engine in here at the end of the week. How do I go about it? Make the purchase on the site and them just send it in?

Best to email or call him so you can figure out exactly what you want to do with the motor. Phone and email are on his site.

Default Flash .21 PT

I got the Flash .21 PT for my GT. Im running it about 250*-260* and Im barely making 5min. Im I still running this engine too rich? What temp should I be running this engine at?

I would recommend checking out the tuning bible found at the top of the on road nitro engine zone. The number one mistake I see with tuning is too fat of a bottom and too lean on top. Use the tactics in the tuning bible to figure out if you are in the right ball park. As far as temps go there are way too many variables to say this should be your temp. Tune for power and smoke mostly but again there isn't a set temp. I have engines that run 230 on some days and 280 on others.

Also if your motor is not fully broken in your temps will be higher if you are pushing the motor. Lots of things, sorry to be so vague.

Got my new engine today!!!
SOO LOOKING forward to getting some fuel through it for the final break-in.
If it's any stronger than what I have now (and I am hoping), I better get some more bodies painted up.

Just wanted to say thanks to Uriah for the Virtus Engines I ran at the recent KO Propo Grand Prix last weekend. I was able to make the A main in both sedan and 1/8th. Both engines ran flawlessly with tremendous HP all weekend. Thanks!!!

Just placed my order for a Murnan Virtus .21 full ceramic and opted for the full run in by the company as well through the website. Have just run in my Virtus Collari and am very interested to see how the Murnan feels compared to the Collari modified engine.
