Go Tech Engines

Yeah Some times they stick together . We are finding that with a Turbo head button to use between .5 and .7 head shimming works really well.

Yeah you have the proto type ! how is it going by the way ?
And re Ceramics , Im sticking with the standard ones.. I really like the Go Tech bearings. Ive never personally liked Ceramics in engines.

I haven't got it , Dibbo's got it . He reckons it's going just fine . He hasn't lent it out too much yet but it's still as quick as almost everything out there . I didn't go yesterday 'cos of the whole mother's day thing so I didn't see but I'm hearing good things .
How far off is the production model ?

the production model is way off ! you can however get prototypes from us , you may want to swap the head out for a Nova or OS as the original one is a litle large for on road...
here is my results from the NSW Tryggy Titles
Hi I would like to up date findings on the Go Tech 7 port as a result of the NSW titles. Firstly a Congratulations to Mr Steve Toon for driving way beyond expectation with his New Super Truggy finishing 8th in the A main ! That thing was hooked up very nice indeed. It was a shame he had a rear wheel fall off and a steering servo fail . In the early stages of the final Steve had the big guns a little worried i think leading for the first 5 laps .. It will be interesting to watch Steves progress in the near future.
ok so what id like to offer here is some tuning advise for the Go Tech carb The engine we are referring to the following combo
Go 7 port
HN 2047 pipe
HB 444 fuel
P3 plug
Turbo Head
0.65 shimming
In tuning the engine we found we could squeeze 13 mins 15 seconds out of a tank that officially weighed in at 147 ml
What we found the best way to tune the engine was to lean off the HSN till it choked on the box then back it off 1/4 ( richen ) then lean LSN to get a 3 second kill when squeezing the fuel tube. Then adjust the idle failrly low .
IMPORTANT please note we did this after running the motor in, so it had close to 2 litres through it before comp tuning ...
Cold start the engine seemed rich but after 2 laps it was right on.
Here you have a starting point. we found that at 2/3 of a tank down the engine may lose power if too lean we richened it 1/8 at a time on HSN till the power came back.
please note that this tuning will work with the above combo. Changing any one of these will vary the tune of course so keep that in mind . Also please note that this is a comp tune, if you were to run the motor for recreational purposes you should run it a little richer but not too much.
Hope this helps when tuning your Go Motor !
Cheers MM

I was getting 8.45 out of mine on a 125 ml tank . Still going to squeeze it more for this weekend. Im also lowering the deck height to .6
