guys. I've stripped down an OS Speed I and II. I realized that crankcases are different from each other! SpecII has a circular opening at the top of the exhaust outlet and has a different machining around the inlet port.
We discussed here that we may modify OS TZ 5port sleeve to a SpecI. I examined that specII has a modified OS TZ 3port sleeve.. In the pictures sleeve on the left is a specI sleeve..
I used specI crankcase-piston-sleeve and specII cranksahft-magnesium head and will see the result in our upcoming Bursa Race.

I bought it for a reasonable price.. case, conrod, piston, sleeve, cylinder head are wrecked.. ceramic rear bearing, crankshaft, magnesium head, carburretor are fine.. I got suprised with specII's cylinder head bolts. They are nearly the same shape with 1/1 engine cylinder head bolts.

Hi guys,
I am looking at buying a TZ(P) motor. Just wondering if there is much difference between the standard tz compared to the eb mods tz? My local club races at a large carpark area with a pvc pipe set out track, nothing majorly large so just wondering if a standard tz would be fine? so I dont have to run my bigger spec motors. also pipe combos? ive heard the os t-1040 is good.

One race weekend in the books and I'm VERY happy with the OS Speed Spec II.
My driving was suspect...fought a push all weekend with a new car, but the engine was flawless. Great idle, good bottom end...and amazing on top. (had several "pit visits" asking for information)

Anybody knows where can i get Spec 2 crankcase online? I accidentally broke the sleeve guide pin ( the one that stop the sleeve from moving around), or is there anything that i can do to fix it?
