Got a problem i ran in my engine to the instructions but now it is over heating very quickly under 5 minutes.
Does anyone know the problem or have had this same problem.
In a couple of seconds it's hot.

just incase you didnt know but the techwell engines are just a cheaper brand of the navorossi's they are exact duplicas and these engines are crazy fast especially in the COLT that we got here in aus this car is around 1200 grams heavy belt driven and the techwell smokes up the wheels like MAD....this engine is rocket fast....if u want to buy 1 i highly recommend it

err... there not a a rossi copy. pull one apart and you'll see.besides from the fact that rossi never made a rear exhaust pullstart (that i know of) they do go well for a short period of time though (if you can tune it properly cause there prone to over heating)

It's not a pull start it is the race version R12103 with the turbo head and now the turbo plug.
As it is in my fw-05rr for pro nitro.
I know that the techwell engines are fast well about the same top end as nova's and o.s. (just not alot of torque)
But thats not the problem the engine it is overheating in under 5 minutes.
At the moment i have put a o.s tz head on it to reduce the heat and it looks to be going fine.
i have checked for:
Fuel
Airleaks
cooling
dirt clogging
tuning
But i think it is the head,i wont be able to test it properly untill this sunday.

a mate has the 5 port and the 3 port 'pro' motors.
the 3 port goes heaps better than the 5 port but the pullstart motors are just as fast as both of them.they all suffer from poor bottom end power and heat.
heres my pullstart car.
