Thumbs up Nothern Ohio Indoor on-road track - Norwalk, OH

Spreading the word about an indoor carpet racing and indoor micro FPV racing track that is coming to Norwalk, OH - Just South of Cedar Point.

Local hobby shop is getting interest and procuring a facility to have the races in the near future.

The hobby shop has been around for many years and has moved to a new location and is growing. Not to many shops like Daniels around the area.

The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you with whatever rc needs you have.

If you are interested follow the link and sign up for updates and show interest. Track support and racers are needed to make this happen.

Help the hobby keep growing and support the local hobby shop with all your needs.

Hopefully it will get enough involved that an off-road track could come to exist also.

Just to update this thread. I stopped in and talked to the owner of the shop and he said racing is supposed to start back up in October.
The classes they run are:
•Stock TT-01 / TT-02 (only upgrade allowed is ball bearings.)
•Open TT-01 / TT-02 (he said that they pretty much allow most 1/10 scale TCs)
•Formula 1
•Tamiya Monster Beetle
and I'm pretty sure he mentioned something about the 1/14 TT-01 based semi truck class. He also has a rock crawling course at the shop. But he is going to be moving locations in a few weeks to directly across the street. He said the track will be ready for the start of racing and it will be a bit larger. Hopefully we can keep this thread going. I've never raced due to no local track and I'm looking forward to trying it out. It would be cool if we can get enough local interest to maybe in the future get an off-road track. Anybody from the Norwalk area say hi it's always cool to meet new rc people!

They just made the move over the weekend. I haven't had a chance to stop in yet but I'm hoping to tomorrow after work.

The building move was also accompanied by a name change. The shop is now called Rob's Hobbies. I dropped in and he said the track was not quite ready yet but should be in the next few weeks. The crawler course is in the design phase but the focus will be there after the track is finished. He just reopened Tuesday so his inventory is a little low on parts but he said he plans to expand as currently he mainly stocks traxxas parts with a bit of tamiya and associated mixed in . But he can order in most items and his prices are pretty competitive, in some instances even cheaper than the internet

Sitting in great position and have more potential than white sox. should win AL central division.

the Indians are an interesting team this year. They may not be loaded with talent the way they were a few years ago, though they are not devoid of talent either. But what's exciting about them is even when they're down and the defense has committed all kinds of errors or the bats aren't working they just keep grinding. There's no quit in this team. The game ends at the final out and not one second before. Considering the talent the pitching staff lost (Corey Kluber, mike clevinger, Trever Bauer, Carlos carrasco), they actually are performing better than I was expecting, beyond Shane Beiber and Zach Plesac. Considering 3 or maybe even all 4 of the starters they lost could easily be the ace one 75+% of major league staffs that's pretty impressive.
