I only said that RickV recommended a totally different break-in procedure, for the Ninja engine, my story was backed by "MassiveMods"..... (Is it not allowed to place questionmarks on Mike's story even if he is a top driver?)
A lot of "engine experts" recommend NOT to break in an engine on idle.....
Ok, Mike is then the ONLY factory driver I know who is not using a new engine or new internals every major race.....
Is it so special then?
No problem, and I do like it to seen yet another engine on the market which is less expensive, and might run fast to, but does it need to be "overhyped"?
I know it is hard for you guys to listen to somebody from Europe.......

Because the thread is longer/shorter, or the shape (angle) of the plug?.....
Mega has this same "issue" and also Sirio as far as I know....
But are (as far as you know, because you admitted you only know Nova engines) the plugs not at all interchangable between these brands?

It's nice to see you offering your total support for the Ninja engines on this forum. It shows how supportive you pros can be sometimes.. ;)

On the other hand, I would like to ask for your opinion on Ninja .21R01A. How would you rate it among the top brands such as Sirio and Novarossi?? I was hoping to find a product review of this engine online or in any magazine but haven't been lucky as of yet. So maybe you could enlighten us with some inside knowledge or tips on this matter.. :)

look back on page 13 about half way down "mugen drew" posted the stock setting for the 21 motors hope this helps

I love the Ninja engine. Its fast and easy to tune but you should probably ask some other people that have used the other engines. I have only ran Nova and Ninja engines. I also work for Mugen so my answer would always sway towards to the brand we sell.

But be honest, if ninja was not part of Mugen you would still be using novarossi/JP engines!!!!

Why? You don't like that sucking sound they only make ONCE at the end of the back straight? Finger tips hurt from changing wrist pin clips? A .9mm or thicker stack of head shims just "does not seem right"? Break in plus four and a half gallons and my non a-spec is still ticking like a Tag-Heuer. It loves fuel, not parts. A-specs sitting in a box broke in and waiting for its day in the sun. Very satisfied customer. Now when do I get to lay my hands on one of those magnesium headed, blackened crankcase Mario Rossi "getter dun" Models? :D

If you like to pay $500 plus for a stock engine then that is on you. Its hard to support a company that sells there product for way too much money!
