Has anyone tried the 22c carb on the Spec 3 Motor?

Thank you

Thank you
I put one on a spec II and gained some runtime.

The 22C will be a little smoother and slightly less overall power, but it will increase runtime.

Default Spec 3 rod

Does anyone know who has a connecting rod for the spec 3 in stock? Ice done some research and found that the spec 3 uses the same rod as the b2101/b2102 so I assume it would also use the same rod as the ninja bo3 correct? And what if any are the differences between the original speed xzb, spec 2 and spec 3 rods.im looming to possibly replace mine after breakin or just to have on as back up but nobody has them in stock til August that I've found.as always thanks a lot fellas.

I've had quiet a few speeds over the years, looking at 4 right now! Only time i ever replaced a rod was when the motor got a new sleeve and piston too! Never broke one!

Ok thanks.my spec 3 has a slight amount of movement between the crankpin and rod when I opened the backplate when brand new and of course after 7 tanks of breakin now it just is worrying me.i know it's got to have a very small amount of wobble,if u will, to allow lubrication.thats why I was trying to locate a rod.

New to os engines so forgive me. Have a spec 3 in truggy. Ran great all through quals. During main it shut off twice at the end of the long straight. Just as I went from full lit to some break. Motor doesn't seem lean. Is my lsn too lean?

most likely too low idle, so coming off the straight you on the brakes pretty hard. try raising the idle a little. especially when newer better run a little higher idle.

Default Little bit of tuning help

Got a quick question.this is my first speed and I'm used to novas and leaning out the lsn a food ways then going to the Hsn.is this kind of the same procedure for the speeds or is it a little different? I'm finding that I can't really get the engine to clear out until I really crank down on the Hsn.Any tuning advice is much appreciated.its in an mbx7tr,p3 plug, byrons 30/11,m2c 4 shoe clutch w/1.0mm springs if ya need that info.thanks alot.
