Default RB ENGINES THREAD

I searched the Off Road Nitro Engines thread for a dedicated thread to a discussion of RB Engines and couldn't find one so thought I would start one where we can discuss the benefits and problems (if any he he) of RB Engines

For e/g/ what is the difference in performance between a BX and a BXR. I ask because I was given a brand new BX Engine but have had my eye on BXR's for some time. I was told a key difference is the BX does not have the diamond crank where as the BXR does, but performance is quite similar. Is this true? Is this the only real differences between the BX's and the BXR's?

We Love RB at ,my home club.
