I'm a big fan of Bones Brew however Byron 30/11 is great fuel as well. Consistent tune and power and it leaves a beautiful coating of oil all over the engine internals. No need for after run oil at all.

You might think about Nitro Pro fuel. It has worked very well for me leaving me with nothing but good to say about it.

Another vote for Bones Brew but if I have to use another fuel for any reason would be Byrons.

Werks Race Blend 30% - you won't go wrong.

Failing that - of the fuels you mentioned, Byrons is well proven .

Contact Ron at Werks about stocking their fuel. Once guys run it they never go back.

Thumbs up

Sorry guys i forgot to say something, about the fuel next year here in Europe we can only use 16% for official races.
More then that you can use it but in the not official races!
This year at the Euro A 1/8tt race in Italia all the driver were already using 16%.

Not EFRA events only, AFAIK 2016 Worlds gonna be 16% too, because new rules about fuel enforced by IFMAR

My LHS only sells VP powermaster. I run %30/9 in all my vehicles and they run terrific. This is for bashing only FYI

The 2 best fuels in my opinion are vp power master and sidewinder both have been in the business for over 30 years. Also both fuels are very clean burning and leave very little to no residue and what i like is that both fuels unlike byrons gen 1 or 2 is the additive packages in the fuels such as antifoaming, wetting agents for lubrication and also igniters for even burning. More power better fuel economy.

If pure chemical components are used, additives aren’t needed. I’ve been mixing my own fuels for over 5 years and use only nitromethane, methanol, and two kinds of oil. Any “wetting agents”, “igniters”, etc that are added to the fuel are just gimmicks and completely unnecessary. Powermaster does use a very good anticorrosion additive that I would say puts that fuel above the rest, but only slightly. My favorite fuels that I used to use was SIG Champion and Trinity Monster HP.

RC fuel is a bit of a voodoo subject, but only because the oil package is what makes the fuel and every fuel is a little different. Period.

I’m not a believer in Byron’s. I have used it before and didn’t care for it.
