Default OFNA pipe/Dynamite Mach 2 21 fitment

Hey everyone. I am having fitment issues with the above combination after guy behind counter told me almost any tuned pipe would work for my new engine. This is my first engine swap, so is this true, or do I now have to order a new dynamite specific pipe and header?

This is the pipe I have

1/8 tuned, efra listed, offroad 31990

What you appear to have bought is a pipe appropriate for the year 1993.
It appears from what I see on google, this pipe require a silicone tube joiner to join it to a header. Probably came with a header that has screw fittings as well?

Now every pipe has a round fitting and is held on by springs, and the header and pipe are mated together by rubber gasket internally and three springs externally. This is much better.

From what I saw on google Dynamite mach2 uses same fittings as any other engine on the market today. It's your pipe that is wrong.
I would not be too worried about Efra approval, LOL.

What you want is something like this:

or this

It's cheap and it'll work. I don't think you need to worry too much about performance aspects, as this engine is basicly a budget item.
