I have two 121 .21VR motors that have been run hard and are shelved for now. Yet I am building up an older buggy for a family member and was curious how much of the Reedy VS was shared dimensionally with the VR. I would rather refresh a VR than buy a new motor, and then if the VS piston, Conrod and sleeve might not only be a cheap alternative, but may make for a less aggressive car for said family member. Like I said I am not trying to buy a new motor and have accepted a new VR piston, sleeve and conrod may need to be ordered.

Anyone aware of the possibilities and or differences?

I do think that the RTR VS motor may come from a different factory / vendor. So before I be a guinea pig and try it, I would like to ask first.

The engine are different, different case, bore and stroke. The VR is more square and the VS is a stroker. Will not work, New VR piston, conrod and sleeve it is.
