Engine is an RB S3.

chassis is ofna-esque...

Appears most similar to the "Picco" buggy they did, but with the Jammin-style laydown steering and small shocks (vs the 16mm Jammin shocks on the Picco model).

You must have been looking in the 5R and I don't know anything about RB I've never ran only NOVA, Jammin, and O.S.

Rb is made by nova... If it has good compression take it apart check for rust or crud buildup and clean it all up with some denatured alcohol re lube with afterun oil and fire it up!

The motor is a RB Concepts S3 or RB for short. It's a very high end motor. Team it up with a good pipe & header for best performance!!
Here's the manual:

Used engines are the worst way to get into nitro. Not to mention trying to source parts for an old car, that nobody can even identify. Save yourself the headache, buy a new engine, and a used current generation car.

Definitely not a Mugen, there were a few clones of the mbx5. Has some Caster feel to it, but not caster either, or is a very early mbx5 caster clone. The radio box looks like a Caster mold. It just doesn't have the "polish" of a Mugen, but I guess some aftermarket parts could have been used. But aftermarket parts usually look a little better than that or they wouldn't sell. It's not an MBX-4, the arms on the 4 didn't have front/rear pivot blocks for mounting.

One thing is for sure, the dude was running low on fuel line. :-)

Definitely not a Mugen unless they have changed about 75% of the parts. Looks like they bought a clone and added whatever parts they could find to keep it running.

what is the verdict then, not bother with any of it? its rtr runs good other than needing some adjustments (rolls when idle)
