Tecnopower B03

Tecnopower B03
I received my B03 today and as per previous tecnopower engines seemed to be built with the same high quality that the previous engines, B01 and B01T had been accustomed to.
I was somewhat surprised that the head sits so low, as below
The engine is sat next to the B01T which has now had just over 2.5 gallons and still has so much mechanical pinch you can hardly turn it over.
performance wise the B01T has been amazing, never really skipped a beat and always offers excellent duration and power.
I stripped the engine last weekend to check on the internals and there is zero play on either the crank or pin, I have however changed the rod for precautionary measure.
At present I have put x2 tanks through the B03 with the same pipe (2069 Tecno pipe) and it seems to purr quite nicely, however had to keep the competition heater (un plugged) on the head to keeps the temps close to 200Deg F.
Looking forward to putting 10 tanks through it tomorrow ready for sunday.
I collect my B02T on Sunday so have a bit of running in to do!!!!

Pics of internals
Nice looking engine...seems like the low cog heads is the new trend.
Im curious about the B02T aswell
Btw: that ionbond coating on crankpin and wristpin on the T versions...it's comparable to DLC coating (as in just as hard wearing)?

I ran the BO3 for the first time yesterday after running it in and I have to say the B03 has very different characteristics to the B01T. The B03 is smoother at the bottom end and seems to have a nitro boost type character from the middle part of a straight to the end.
The bottom end was very controllable in that if you want to drive smoothly and with minimal wheels spin then its possible however jab the throttle and you can double or triple anything.
I ran the engine in my Hara D8 and geared it 16/48 with a plastic clutch, one thing i noticed is that the engine was extremely quick down the straight even though it was running rich ish as it was coming off at 200-210 deg F.
I will strip it and post pics of the internals

Isn't it amazing how a machine can be a thing of beauty?
