do you have a link to them? also want the condor's, but cant find them.
I believe the Axeman 905 and maybe another model will be released for truggy later this year. They are currently tied up with production of the new 808 and 809 buggy tyres, plus some belted versions of these two models as well. Refer to the VP Pro Tyre page on our web site http://go-racing.vpweb.co.nz/VP-PRO-Tyres.html Medium loose to dusty track go with the 902īs in the new ultra soft flex - nice. |

You won't find them. VP currently only make the 902 Cut Offs and the 904 Turbo Trax for truggy, and they only come un-glued at this stage.

What is the advantage of putting in or pulling a shim before and after break in? I have been running Go for two years and have never done any of that. Bill and I get 8 gallons easy without changing the rod or anything. Our motors are always commented about how fast they are. We do are prep for a new motor then put in on the break in stand (shims the way it came) run one sometimes 2 or three tanks in a row 225 temp and we do this till metal pinch is gone and they have been perfect.

putting in the break in shim was to relieve the stress on the rod. the newer gxr's don't have the insane pinch that the older models had. I like to run .3mm/.4mm shim stack. that combined with the .3mm that is built into the engine gives a total of .6mm/.7mm. this is after break in. if what your doing is working I would leave it alone. also with the shim stack can improve mileage. I usually at race tune get 12/13+ min.per tank. I always try to pit around the 10 min. mark, but like to have the security of extra time. and no I don't have 2 feet of fuel line with 2 gas filters.

Im not sure if you saw the original head design, before the pic that was posted, but the font was horrendous. I Redid the solidworks file he sent me with different lettering. Also, I advised Simon to change the profile and the angle of the holes that are drilled from underneath to lighten it. I didn't see it mounted, but I'm hoping that it'll be easier to tighten and loosen the mount screws. Simon did the cutout on the sides and above the exhaust, and I had suggested something slightly different. Still, the end result is truly a winner. still waiting to see the final porting and crank. I'm stoked about this motor! Going to have to use all the self restraint I have to send the few samples I'm getting to the drivers.
Anyways, if all works out, we may have pics from team drivers online, perhaps this time next week. If we can post them, I will. They will be here or on our usa website. Also, I've got pricing set for the engines. As of Monday, Feb 3rd, 2011, we will be taking preorders for the GXII-5R HO. dealers and team members placing preorders will receive a $10 discount. Im glad you found a nice font because the original was ,... anyway Onward and upward M |
any idea when the massive web site will reopen? since it seems you single handed have reinvented the go engine, I thought that since your cape was out you could enlighten all of us.

May i correct you for the record. The head design G on the head was my design in meeting with the Go Director in Thailand. The Cut above the exhaust was my design . The original GXHO China Style font which i agree looked hiddeous , the change was my suggestion on font.

Well my d&%k is bigger than both of yours so BAM!!!!!! Lol I get good mileage but I will try the extra shim and see what happens.
