Default Carbs for Picco?

Does anybody know of some other brand that have the same (outer)diameter on the carb as Picco .21 Evo2-3? Looking around for some different carbs to try out for my 2011-engine.

Ok, I will take a look at that carb. It seems to be quite cheep to.
By the way, the Picco carb-neck is 14mm and 11mm in depth.

Nova, OS, Sirio/Werks are all 15mm. I believe GRP/Technopower are as well but not certain.

yeah the sportwerks are cheap but actually good carbs, ive seen many people get them and it makes their engine come alive... i fixed my picco carb with some JB weld around the seam where the composite and aluminum part meets. ever since i did that i had ZERO issues.

none of those carbs will work, ive tried them. the only carbs i know of that work are jammin JPX, ofna JL (but they are pretty much the same carb as you have), Orion Alpha and sportwerks. there are probably a couple more but i havent heard of anyone using anything else.

Well, the thing is that none of the carbs leak, actually...
But not much is stock on the engine, so I want to try out some different carbs to see hove it works out. In worst case scenario I will have lost some $ and gained some knowledge.
But as long as the other brands have a larger neck itīs no problem, itīs always easier to remove than ad material.

I will look around and see what I find. But the price is right for that carb, thats for sure!

mine never leaked either, tune would just change at random and it would lean idle off jumps sometimes. thats why i did the JB weld job LOL

I've seen nova carbs turned down to fit. Worked really well.

One did leak at the HSN at one point, but a thine layer of ATV-silicon applied to the out-side toke care of that. (Iīm not to found of the alu-washer)

I did hear about some people that used Novarossi carb for Picco, and that it worked quiet well. According to them it became easier to tune, but with slightly lower on power.

I want to be able to control the mixture more precise over the entire band and I donīt have any fancy flow-bench that I can run tests on.
So a carb with 3-needles could allow me to fine tune it better, it may not give any extra, but then again maybe it would.
I could also buy some more LSN to mod, I did it some times when I used old SU-carbs on engines I used to race (full-scale).

Iīm will start to break-in the new engine and try out some pipes first.

Thankīs for all the help, greatly appreciated!
