A lot of the reccomendations given are very good, as long as you get one of the top line engines there is no way you need more than a .21. Most of the top ones are very fast. I have a Werks B5 and its a very capable engine.

Novarossi P5XLT has awesome smoooth torque for truggy racing.

I have an os .25 for my truggy and couldn't be happier. As with all os motors they're easy as to tune and will keep running for you all day without a flame out. It has alot better bottom end than a .21 but not as much as the fire breathing .28 where you used to change clutch shoes with every tank and the diffs with every glow plug.

Best of both worlds and superb bang for buck value.

You can't beat Novarossi quality and power.

I got a Trinity EX-Tech .24 with a JP-1 pipe and love it. Fully modded, just about broke-in from the factory, great usable power throught the RPM range and the tunnig is as easy as an OS. You can't go wrong. 14 gallons thru it and she still screams. Run time is about 12 minutes in my 8T. After 2 race seasons its about time for a rebuild. Trinity sells a complete P/S/R kit for about 100 bucks. Not bad.

yes token they are but the .23 is even better in the truggy.. more bottom end and the rpm's of the .21's..... best of both worlds... i would suggest these engines but they are just in the $$ range but no pipe... pipe is another 70ish.. jeremy

This is what I've run in truggy for the last two race seasons! It was in a MBX6T with 1.0 springs and aluminum shoes. I got 9 1/2 mins per tank and had more than enough power through the whole rpm range. The P5XLT and Dynamite 086 combo never let me down.

That is an awesome combo !!!

Good bottom, rippin top end and decent mileage

2084ss/41021 in truggy is the ticket though , excellent bottom , good top and exceptional mileage , if you want even more power and a little less mileage use 9853ss/41021 or 41005/41001 to gain a little more high end rip !!

Trinity has been out of business for over a year. And EPIC (Short for Epic failure) out of FL i believe went belly up as well. That's what happens when your customer service stinks and you lie to people for months at a time,or should i say years.New state, same business approach same ending. Are those crickets i hear?? So no do not buy one of these motors if you need customer service or parts support. Unless of course you like soft cranks, silicone that comes out of those cranks and carbs that don't hold a tune!!
