Okay guys I just bought a new MG-66 out of the sale section on here. I have a GX-5R already. What are the main differences and how do I break it in? Do I use the GO procedure. Also do you tune these the same way as the GO motors.

It's smoother than the 5 port and yes pre heat before starting for a couple of weekends and use your warm up laps to warm it up, = no prolonged full throttle runs down the straights but OK in short sections only 2-3sec to keep building heat. tunes the same way and high end needle is very sensative, so get your bottom end rite first and only small movements on the top end untill it comes alive only. happy motoring, any Q please ask.

Sweet, what new buggy ?

I'v only got the mod high end, is a little easier to tune than stock, wider window, all the guys at the track have the stock needles and I tune them quite easy too, thou I'm used to it, so used to it I can hear when someone is firing up an MG with out even seeing it lol, it's all up to you.

Hey Flanno, Im getting the new Caster ZX1.5R 2010spec buggy, I have been bashing my old HN ultra worlds of late and been raceing truggy on club days.
I dont feel as though I have any problems tuning my MG but was just wondering about the mod needles.
And as for the sound of the MG's..........I know what your saying, When Magpie is running I always know were his car is

Sweet

It's up to you, if your doing fine then thats good, most people don't need it, I just find it easier to find the sweet spot with mine than tuning others. It's just a personal thing.

If you decide to get the mod high end needle, let us know what you think too.

My M2C 4 shoe clutch set up just arrived today, man so much tunability
